Back in 2019, after over a decade of running a software development firm, I diversified into the government supply of genomics and scientific equipment. Armed with a background in both IT and life sciences, I registered my company on all major government eProcurement portals and started participating in tenders. What came next was a revelation—and not the pleasant kind.
